Listening to our clients - Client Survey results 2024

September 27, 2024

In August 2024, we conducted our annual client survey.

This survey asked people who have accessed the Cardinal Hume Centre’s services over the past 12 months about:

  • How they first encountered the Centre
  • Which of the Centre’s services they have engaged with
  • Their opinions on the quality and impact of the Centre’s support; and
  • Their ideas for how the Centre can improve its services, become more welcoming and
  • Accessible, and involve clients more in its work and decision-making

We have collected this information for two key purposes:

  • Learning and reflection – the client survey provides an opportunity to hear a wide range of client perspectives and to reflect critically on the Centre’s existing strengths and areas for change and improvement.
  • Communicating impact – the client survey also provides a body of evidence for the Centre’s impact on the lives of clients and their families, which we can use to reach more people who might benefit from our support and report on our work to both current and prospective funders.

We are delighted to share that a significant majority of respondents agreed that the Centre’s support has had a critical

impact on their lives:

  • 88% said they felt better able to meet their family’s needs
  • 83% said they felt their overall wellbeing had improved
  • 82% said they felt clearer about their options for the future

“Their guidance and assistance have truly been life-changing, giving us hope and helping us work towards a better future.”
